Tagua Nut Pendants.

The tagua nut is a dried seed from the tagua palm tree, which grows in tropical rain forests of South America.  Tagua is also known as vegetable ivory, this is because of its similarity with ivory, it’s hard, darkens with age and is beautiful.

These hand carved tagua nut pendants are half nuts carved with a one off design and hung on a cotton thong.
